an early morning in flames.
a crash as the water breaks. like a wave.
the gestation of my sickness fully grown.
ready to whine its first sound, and deliver me from peace.
i raise this child in the same way that it was conceived.
in the weakness of my love. and light candles in prayer for its lonely soul.
